Let’s make good news stories together.
This is a just-for-fun project to turn bad news headlines into a fun story.
The idea is to cut and paste a few words, a sentence maybe, from newspaper clippings then pass to your neighbour to do the same. With the hope that everyone on your street, and neighbouring streets, take part.
Who knows what we’ll make, but it should be fun!
You can sign the guestbook, or take part anonymously if you like.
If you’d prefer not to take part, no problem at all, we just ask that you pass this to your neighbour, thank you.
Instructions:
- Add to the new story by selecting a few words from the collection of cut out words, and stick them on the card.
If you want to add more words from your newspapers, feel free, there’s no rules. - The aim is to turn bad news into a good news! Extra points for making it funny!
- Optionally sign the guestbook.
- Put it through your next door neighbour’s letterbox. Go up in numbers, if you are number 32, post to number 33 or 34, whichever is your neighbour. If you are at the end of a street, post it to the first house on the next street.
- If you think the story is finished please take a photo and email or text it. Details on your instructions. Or submit here.
Thank you for taking part!
